October 9, 2026
Dear Neighbors,
Apparently, even a notice telling owners how to run for the Board can arrive after the deadline has passed. The email you received about a half hour ago, announcing the October 8 deadline for submitting an Intent to Run form, arrived today, October 9.
Better late than never? Perhaps not when it comes to condominium governance!
But there is something far more important I want to bring to your attention.
I encourage every owner to visit mysticpointe500owners.org and read the Façade Project page.
We spent considerable time documenting the project’s history, reviewing the available engineering information, and examining the decisions that brought us to where we are today.
My concern is that the Board has given Falcon Engineering—and, through Falcon, PG Restoration—far too much latitude, without adequate independent oversight or meaningful transparency. The consequences may extend well beyond the project’s cost. They may affect the condition, appearance, and long-term integrity of our building.
This is not simply a disagreement over construction methods or money. It is about protecting our investment and ensuring that decisions affecting our homes are properly justified, documented, and scrutinized.
Please take a few minutes to read the Façade Project page and draw your own conclusions. The documentation speaks for itself, and every owner deserves the opportunity to understand what is happening to our building.
Our building belongs to all of us. Its future should not be left to decisions that owners cannot adequately examine.
Best regards,
Matthew Roth
